| | Just a sudden thought, a "Hi-Bye" experiment, Here are the details:
First, i would like to make my definition of "Hi-Bye" to give it vivid meaning: When two people is met coincidently, with only a few saying between them, not necessary including the word "Hi" or "Bye" then each of them keep on going in their different way. I called this situation a "Hi-Bye" process.
The experiment's frame is that:
Aim: To investigate the frequency of "Hi-Bye" and the time staying in campus
Hypothesis: The longer one stays in campus, the higher frequency one would make "Hi-Bye" with others (Obviously, here I assume that the guy is not always staying in library or he hides himself so that no one would find him.)
Variable: Dependent variable: the frequency of "Hi-Bye" (The frequency is counted once I am in campus) Independent variable: the duration that I stayed in campus
Apparatus: 1 Note book 1 pen (for recording)
Procedures: 1. Direct counting of frequency each day 2. Input the result in computer 3. Plot the graph of frequency against the duration in campus
Result: God knows, I haven't done this expt. (But I am quite sure it is not a straight line as those studied in high school.)
Discussion: The topic can be changed as how this result would be if I joined some kind of activities, like living in halls, being a committee member in some sort of clubs and make some comparison.
